Advertising Policy

1. Overview

LocalSingl.es Ads allows local businesses, venues, and brands to reach our community of singles through targeted, relevant advertising. All advertisers must comply with this Advertising Policy to maintain a safe, authentic experience for our members.

2. Eligible Advertisers

Advertising is available to:

  • Local restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues
  • Event organizers and promoters
  • Dating coaches and relationship services
  • Local retail businesses and service providers
  • Entertainment venues and activity centers

We reserve the right to approve or reject any advertiser at our sole discretion.

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited in all ad creatives:

  • Sexually explicit or adult content of any kind
  • Content targeting minors or featuring anyone under 18
  • Misleading claims, deceptive offers, or false pricing
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or content that demeans any group
  • Content promoting illegal activities, substances, or services
  • Counterfeit goods or intellectual property infringement
  • Payday loans, multi-level marketing, or predatory financial products
  • Tobacco, vaping, or cannabis products
  • Competitor dating platforms or social apps
  • Political or religious advertising

4. Creative Standards

  • Headlines must be accurate and not misleading
  • Images must be high quality, relevant to the offer, and not use stock photos of people in a deceptive manner
  • CTAs must lead to a working, relevant landing page
  • Ad copy must be in English (additional languages may be requested)
  • All claims (e.g., "Best bar in Ocala") must be substantiated or clearly opinion-based

5. Review & Approval

All ad campaigns are reviewed by our team before going live. The review process typically takes 1–2 business days. We will notify you via email if your ad is approved, rejected, or requires changes.

Rejected ads will receive a reason code. You may revise and resubmit, but repeated violations may result in account suspension.

6. Payment & Refunds

All ad campaigns are prepaid. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Once a campaign is approved and goes live, fees are non-refundable.

If your campaign is rejected and never goes live, you will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

7. Targeting & Data

LocalSingl.es targets ads based on city/region only. We do not sell or share individual user data with advertisers. Advertisers receive aggregated impression and click counts but no personal information about users who saw or clicked their ad.

8. Reporting & Enforcement

Users may report ads they find inappropriate. We investigate all reports and may pause or remove campaigns under review. Advertisers found to be in repeated violation of this policy will have their accounts permanently suspended with no refund.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of our advertising platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
